First pick your hoop : there are several sizes, so choose small or big depending on the size what you will embroider. Here I chose a small hoop. Instead of locking in your fabric, lock in embroidery sheet as shown. Cut it off in the middle to allow enough room for your embroidery design. Line the edges with double-sided tape.
If you don’t have embroidery sheet you can also use :
- a non-stretch plastic sheet
- cut a paper bag and scotch-tape
- firm paper or firm sheet
Stick on stabilizer to cover the part of the fabric where you will embroider. It is a little difficult to see, but roughly I put the stabilizer in the red square. Make sure that hooping is firmly locked and the sheet is well pulled. If the sheet is loose the result won’t be so good.
Peel off the other side of the double sided tape and stick on the fabric (where you put the stabilizer).
Set the hoop in your machine and start following your embroidery machine’s instructions.
Its done!
