Japanese-inspired Ratatouille - potato and paprika

Ingredients
- 3 large potatoes - 670g - thinly sliced
- 5 garlic clove - finely chopped
- 1 red paprika - thinly sliced
- 1 onion - finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 40g butter
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp tsuyu
- 1 tbsp white sesame
- 1 tsp honey
For the garnish
- 1 tsp provence Herbs
Instructions
- 1. In a fry pan, add 1 tbsp olive oil and fry the garlic until fragrant. Add onion and let cook, stirring occasionally until lightly brown and soft.
- 2. Add all the seasoning ingredient in to the fry pan, mix well to them to combine evenly. Set aside. Pre-heat the oven to 190C degree.
- 3. In a ovenproof dish, neatly arrange the sliced potatoes and red paprika and pour the onion sauce on top.
- 4. Sprinkle the provence herb over the potaoes top.
- 5. Place it in the oven and bake for about 50 mins until the top crisp and golden brown on top. Cover and cook another 15 to 20 mins until the potatoes are tender.
- Serve hot!
