Chocolate ice pop

Ingredients

  • 90g chocolate
  • 100g yogurt - no sugar added
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla monin syrup or 1 1/2 tbsp white sugar and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 20ml evaporated milk
  • 60ml milk

  • 120ml heavy cream - beat until firm peaks form

Instructions

  • 1. In a micro-wave safe bowl, add chocolate and microwave for about 1 to 1 1/2 min (do not overheat). Stir until the chocolate has melted.
  • 2. Add yogurt little by little into melted chocolate. Mix well.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until firm peaks form. Pour the chocolate mixture into the whipped cream little by little and mix well.
  • 4. Add maple syrup, vanilla monin syrup (or sugar), milk, evaporated milk and mix them to combine evenly.
  • 6. Pour the chocolate ice mixture evenly into ice pop mold and pop in your ice sticks then freeze for at least 5 hours or until firm.

  • Adjust the sweetness according your taste.
