Ingredients

- 150g strawberries
- 1 banana
- 200ml milk
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 3 1/2 tbsp white sugar

- 200ml heavy cream - beat until soft peaks form
- 2 tsp strawberry powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp monin vanilla syrup (or 2 tbsp sugar with 1/4 vanilla extract)
- -C-
- 50ml water
- 10g gelatin
For the top jelly
- 50ml grenadine syrup
- 30ml water
- 50ml water
- 3g gelatin
Instructions
- 1. Put all the ingredient A (strawberry, banana, milk, sugar and lemon juice) in your blender and make juice.
- 2. Transfer the juice into the medium bowl. Add the ingredient "B" (heavy cream, strawberry powder, monin syrup) into the bowl and mix well. Set aside.
- 3. In a microwave-safe case, add 50ml water, gelatin and micro-wave for about 15 seconds. Remove from the micro-wave and mix them to melt the gelatin.
- 4. Pour the gelatin mixture into the mousse mixture and mix well. Spoon the mixture into your dessert serving cups. Chill for about 3 to 4 hours or until set.
- 5. In a small bowl, combine grenadine syrup and 30ml water. Set aside.
- 6. In a micro-wave safe cup, add 50ml water and 3g gelatin. Micro-wave for 10 to 15 seconds, remove from the micro-wave and mix well to melt the gelatin.
- 7. Add the gelatin mixture into grenadine and mix well.
- 8. Pour the grenadine mixture over the firm strawberry banana mousse. Refrigerate again until firm.
- Serve the strawberry banana mousse chilled and garnished with whipped cream (to taste).
- Adjust the sweetness according your taste.
