Fuwa saku waffle

Ingredients

  • 120g all purpose flour
  • 40g corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 70ml oil or olive oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp grand marnier
  • 290ml milk

Instructions

  • 1. In a large bowl, sift together flour, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda and sugar. Set aside.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, beat egg, oil, vanilla, heavy cream until combine well. Pour the milk into the egg mixture and mix until blended.
  • 3. Preheat waffle iron to desired temperature.
  • 4. Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture little by little. Mix it to combine evenly.
  • 5. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to your manufacturer's direction until golden brown.
  • 6. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar and Serve immediately!
