Corn chips – Doritos

Ingredients

  • 200g corn flour
  • 190ml lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt
  • For the seasoning :
  • Just some salt or the following
  • -Ingredient A-
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp fine salt
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 2/3 tsp paprika powder

Instructions

  • 1. Sieve corn flour. Add oil, salt and mix to combine. Add lukewarm water and mix until the dough is smooth.
  • 2. Roll out the dough thinly with a rolling pin on a floured surface and cut into desired shape of chips.
  • 3. Heat the oil in a wok or frying-pan and deep fry the chips till golden brown both side. Transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain the oil.
  • 4. Just dust with fine salt or toss "ingredients A" to coat.
  • 5. You can store them in air tight containers.
