Ground beef for Dan Dan noodles

Ingredients

  • 350g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp shaoxing wine / chinese cooking wine or just white cooking wine or sake
  • 2 garlic cloves - finely chopped

Ingredient A

  • 30g tian mian jiang / sweet bean sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • 1. In a medium bowl, add ground beef and shaoxing wine (or cooking wine or sake) and mix.
  • 2. In a frying-pan, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Fry the garlic until fragrant.
  • 3. Add the ground beef and stir-fry till no longer pink.
  • 4. Add the ingredient A. Stir for a few more minutes so that it is evenly coated with the seasoning.
