2 new sewing machines!

I decided to buy 2 new and slightly different sewing machines and I received them yesterday! They look great and cannot wait to use them.
The top one is to do cover stitch. I was hesitating between buying this model or the Babylock by JUKI. But I finally got this one because there will be more options for using in the future. The 2nd one is a professional sewing machine and it is built to be very strong to sew. I chose Janome brand this time : I was recommended these machines by the salesperson at the shop. It seems that the Janome HS80 is a very good machine so I am excited about using it.
I just recognized that I can attach the knee-lift like on an industrial machine. I will update my feedback on them after I start using them. I have to learn how to use them first of all…
Now I should be ready to start the real work with my 5 machines! :)

Found a new lovely shop

There were many people out in the street as we’re approaching year end. I was in Omotesando and found a new lovely shop. It has opened on 30th Nov 09. There are lots of cute “Okaki” (= Japanese rice snack.) I tried them and they just taste great!! These okaki manage to be light, thin and so fine. What a success.
The shop is called “Jukka”. If you have opportunity to go to Omotesando, try to visit them.
It can be a nice gift for anyone you like. Or for yourself : of course I brought some home! :)
