Avocado gratin

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves - finely chopped or grated
  • 1 tbsp fried onion
  • 30g shredded cheese (your choice)

For the seasoning :

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp tsuyu 3 times concentrated
  • a dash of sugar
  • a dash of fine salt to your taste
  • 2 tbsp panko/bread crumbs

Instructions

  • 1. In a frying-pan (no oil), add bread crumbs and toast over medium heat until brown. Let it aside.
  • 2. Halve the avocados, discard the seed and spoon most of the flesh carefully. Keep the shells. Place the avocado flesh in a bowl and add lemon juice. Mash with a fork or a potato masher.
  • 3. Add garlic, fried onion and the seasoning, mix well. Then add cheese and mix.
  • 4. Fill empty avocado shells with the avocado mixture evenly.
  • 5. Bake for 10 min at 180℃. Sprinkle fried-panko and serve!
